What is Meta KY?

Many people are on a journey.  A journey to explore the world around them, and the mysteries within themselves as well.  META Ky is a road map to events that are safe and compassionate places to explore some of the mysteries of the world, and of ourselves.

Metaphysical events or groups who are members of META Ky, which is a Kentucky non profit, agree to support, work with, respect and promote each member's events.

Members of META Ky agree to assure that their events are held in safe environments; that the event welcomes all people without judgement, who come to the events with good intent; that we will work to assure our vendors are professionals and respectful; and that you can feel safe to ask any questions as your curiosity guides you.

Meta is 'short' for Metaphysical.  Metaphysical means "something that transcends physical matter or the laws of nature."   Basically, something that is beyond the physical.  The shows who are members of this group are metaphysical or paranormal shows that offer psychics, holistic health practitioners, alternative healing methods, artists, crafters, wellness, seminars and more.

Paranormal means "something that  denotes events or phenomena, such as telekinesis or clairvoyance, that are beyond the scope of normal scientific understanding."
